Patients who will benefit from an upper eyelid blepharoplasty in Costa Rica can have the procedure done in the surgeon’s office under local anesthesia. However, a trip to the operating suite and intravenous sedation is required for lower eyelid blepharoplasty to remove bags from under the eyes.
