Foxy eyes have become a popular trend. The term refers to the look produced by slightly slanted, almond-shaped eyes and perfectly contoured eyebrows. Non-surgically, makeup eyeliner achieves this look by being applied in a winged fashion to give the illusion of foxy eyes. However, plastic surgery<\/a> provides a surgical option to achieve permanent changes to the shape of the eyes.<\/p>\n

A canthal suspension procedure may be used to provide a lifted appearance to the eyelid commissure. This appearance resembles foxy eyes, especially in those individuals with skin laxity and heavy eyelids or who have lost the almond shape characteristic of young eyes. Lifting the tail of the brow also helps to give a subtle slant upwards, which effectively lifts and elongates the upper eyelid creating a beautiful almond eye shape.
