Oculoplastic surgery was a branch of plastic surgery relatively unknown. With the training gained during his years abroad, Dr. G\u00f3mez desires to promote this surgical specialty in Costa Rica.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;It is imperative not to lose sight of the health of the eye when performing any cosmetic or reconstructive surgery on the face,&#8221; he explains. &#8220;That is why a specialty was created where the surgeon first specializes in the
