Patients with entropion have constant irritation of the affected eye, tearing, and a foreign body sensation. The only effective treatment for eyelid entropion is surgery, which consists of tightening the lateral canthal tendon and suturing the eyelid retractors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fortunately, this surgery is safe and may be performed with local anesthesia.
