Direct browplasty\u00a0is an operation in which the excision of a determined amount of skin is performed directly above the eyebrows to correct eyelid hooding caused by brow descent. In each case, the\u00a0degree of brow elevation is tailored to the patient\u2019s age, gender, and aesthetic needs.\u00a0<\/p>

This procedure is the most straightforward method for repairing droopy eyebrows, although it does have a drawback. Since the incision is placed right above the eyebrow hairs in the lower forehead, in certain patients, the risk of a visible scar is present. For younger patients, especially females with thin brow hairs and smooth skin, this fact may pose a particular challenge. In their case, an endoscopic brow lift may be a better option.\u00a0<\/p>

On the other hand, older male patients with abundant eyebrow hairs and forehead wrinkles are perfect candidates for this procedure because the incisions can be placed in a wrinkle and hidden nicely above the brows.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Direct browplasty is not only justified but also desirable in these patients. It can be performed as a minor procedure under local anesthesia and entails a relatively speedy recovery. The results of this operation are generally outstanding, providing a long-lasting elevation of the eyebrows.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
