Doctor Abraham G\u00f3mez attended school in San Jos\u00e9, Costa Rica. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Medical Sciences (UCIMED), one of the most prestigious medical schools in Latin America, where he graduated with honors in the top 1% of his class. While in medical school, he developed a profound interest in Ophthalmology. He was welcomed to the Ophthalmology residency program at the University of Barcelona<\/em><\/strong>, Spain, where he was awarded academic achievements. During his surgical residency, he became passionate about Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery<\/em><\/strong> (OPRS), which led him to pursue subspecialty training in this field. He received his initial OPRS training in Europe at Western Eye Hospital in London<\/em><\/strong> and Instituto de Microcirug\u00eda Ocular in Barcelona. \u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
