Juan Santamar\u00eda Airport (SJO) is Costa Rica’s largest and most important international airport. It is located in the province of Alajuela, about 20 km (12 miles) west of San Jos\u00e9, the capital city. The drive from the airport to downtown San Jos\u00e9 is about 30 minutes, depending on traffic.<\/p>

From the airport, you may use a taxi service or opt for a personal driver to take you to your accommodations. Once you have made it into the city, we recommend using Uber or a scheduled driver since public transportation can be less efficient.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Guanacaste Airport, previously known as Daniel Oduber Quir\u00f3s Airport, has become a favorite arrival site for many international patients because of its proximity to the northern pacific coast. It is strategically located in Liberia, in the coastal province of Guanacaste, 230 km northwest of the capital. Depending on traffic, it is about a 4-hour drive from the capital.<\/p>
